Q & A: Do you have a recipe for home made dog biscuits?
Here are a couple of recipes for homemade dog biscuits...
Paw Lick'N Chicken
3 cups white flour
3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
1-cup chicken broth
4 tablespoon softened margarine
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine flour, cornmeal, chicken broth and margarine. Knead dough for 3 minutes. Apply a light layer of flour to rolling surface and pin. Roll dough to 1/4" thickness and stamp out with cookie cutter. Beat egg and milk together and apply to top of biscuits with brush. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet. Makes 2 dozen.
Peamutt Butter
2 T. corn oil
1/2 cup peanut butter
1-cup water
1-cup whole-wheat flour
2 cups white flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine oil, peanut butter, and water. Add flour, one cup at a time, then knead into firm dough. Roll dough to 1/4" thickness and cut with cookie cutter. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
