Q & A: Is coffee good or bad for me?
Research is on-going regarding the health benefits of coffee. Most research has shown, that coffee, in moderate amounts does not pose a significant risk to the general population. In fact, some research has indicated drinking coffee may reduce Type II diabetes and colon cancer. However, a diet high in fresh fruits and vegetables holds stronger evidence for decreasing the risk of these two diseases. Although, coffee may not be harmful, other beverages such as green tea, skim milk and 100% fruit juice may offer more benefits. So, enjoy your coffee in moderation as part of a well-balanced diet.
