Biography - Dr. Jeff Peacock graduated with honors in 1965 from the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine. He began his veterinary career in in South Bend, Indiana. In December of 1965, Dr. Peacock was drafted and spent two years as a Captain in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps stationed in Memphis, Tennessee. Upon his discharge, he returned to veterinary practice in South Bend, and in 1969 moved to Brecksville, Ohio. There he joined the Brecksville Animal Hospital and in December 1978, founded the Crossroads Animal Clinic in Strongsville. In 1990, he opened the Crossroads Animal Hospital at its current location.
Dr. Peacock has been a civic leader in Strongsville since moving here in 1973. He is a charter member and past president of the Strongsville Rotary Club, a 26 year member of the Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Business Advisory Council to the Strongsville school system. In 1999 he and his wife, Pam, were honorary co-chairs for the Southwest General Health Center annual fund drive, and he is currently a member of the Southwest General Health Center Hospice Steering Committee. For over 20 years he has been a frequent guest contributor on several local television and radio programs, and is the representative for the American Animal Hospital Association in Northeast Ohio.
Dr. Peacock married his college sweetheart, Pamela, in 1965. They have one son, Bradley, and two young grandsons, Zack and Sam.
